| Introduction | I am a 64-ish retired teacher from Spokane, WA. My passion has always been Western history. I currently focusing on Butch Cassidy's early days including the Telluride robbery in 1889. I have been researching the Telluride robbery for almost 35 years and have a lot of research to share, some of which have never been seen and will change history. My friends and family have always asked me to document my research in a book. Writing a book would cause me to put some period at the closing and call it an end. As long as I can sit down and continue to discover new details, no “period” is warranted. I research because each time you pick up detail that lets you better understand a character or situation, it is a true rush. Please scrutinize every detail I present and tell me where I might be wrong. More than ninety percent of the material published about Butch Cassidy is inaccurate. Most of the robberies attributed to Butch Cassidy were not possible given his time in jail, prison, and South America. Help me explore! |
