| Introduction | I live and work in Bethlehem at the Wi'am Palestinian Conflict Resolution Center. Life here is exciting and boring, fabulous and frustrating all at the same time - a nice fit for me. :)I continue to learn so much from the people I have met here in Bethlehem. I miss my friends and family back home, having been here for about 6 months. Yet, I would not trade this experience for the world. I still have great hope for communities in which people work together. This little town of Bethlehem is one such community. I feel certain that it is only through our relationships with others that we can fully know and understand ourselves. I think this is best summarized in Mark 12:30-31, "Love the Lord your G-d with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength... Love your neighbor as yourself." |
