| Introduction | Sifiso attended the Film & TV Unit at Monash University Film and TV Department. Sifiso has worked as writer and content producer on shows such as Imagine Afrika, Zooming in on Men and Hatch. He directed Spiderman and Romeo, a ground breaking short documentary about the thrills and dangers of train surfing on the notorious Metrorail Soweto line The film went on to be short-listed and shown at numerous local and international festivals, the documentary has shown on BBC as well as Sechuan TV in China. His most recent works include directing music videos for established Johannesburg acid jazz/ rock band Impande Core and respected MC Tumi Molekane (of the Volume fame)’s latest single “Bambezela”, which has just been nominated for a Channel O music video award. He is currently in post-porduction with a Dj Tiesto vs Blk jks music video and developing Shabaka, a documentary series that goes on a quest to discover the meaning of manhood in Africa |
