| Introduction | My name: Minkah pronounced (Men-kah) means Justice. I'm a full time nerd and am working on my M.A. thesis about queer black womyn's experiences in white academia. I love traveling, spoken word, music, film and meeting creative folx among other things. Basically any activity that keeps me balanced so I don’t become one of those academics with no social skills and no connection to the world outside of the ivory tower. Although working three jobs helps with this endeavor too. Times are hard and this MA degree isn't paying for itself, unfortunately. |
