Introduction	I got my motorcycle licence in 1996 but didn't log any miles really until 2006 when I rode the Cabot Trail with my first real riding buddy, Cathy D, and in 2007 when I rode the Gaspe with Cathy and her best riding buddy, Nancy W. My 2007 Yamaha FJR is my third bike, likely my last, and hands down my favorite. Is this cross-country ride something I've "always wanted to do?" No. It never occurred to me until I got the FJR and went to CFR 2008 in Cape Breton. CFR 2009 is in Nakusp, BC so I "have" to ride x-country to get there ;-) Plus, I'm reasonably fit and as far as I know, healthy. I know all that can change in a heartbeat so I DO have to go while the goin's good. As John told me when I asked his opinion of it: "You're not getting any younger". Yes, that's John's way of quietly giving his support - as he does with everything I do. I'm a lucky girl....
