| Introduction | Growing up during the 80's I didn't pay much attention to politics or the actions of the government. As I reached voting age I started to listen to what was going on in government and I realized that it actually did affect me. Since then I have been interested in government, politics, and current events that help shape the current world. I now work in the Texas Government and couldn't enjoy it more. It's stressful at times, but rewarding when the governmental system works the way it's supposed to. Government is never going to be seamless and streamlined, but hopefully with active involvement, we can make a difference and assist our government in helping its citizens. I hope to take a better understanding for government and policies away from this class, which I think will ultimately help me in the job I currently hold and positions that I hope to hold in the future |
