| Introduction | My name is Paul Flanagan, I'm 26 years old and live in Southport, Merseyside. I am a fully qualified FA referee, as well as a talent scout at Everton FC Academy, and a UEFA qualified football coach. I have played football for Birkdale Utd and Kew Rangers, both local sides in Southport, and I have coached for Birkdale Utd, Ainsdale Juniors and Dune Raiders. I have coached on soccer schools with Mossley Hill Football Club and Dynamo Burscough, as well as run soccer schools for Ainsdale Juniors and Birkdale Utd. I have previously worked with Liverpool FC Academy and have now been with Everton for 6 years. I am a Liverpool fan, but also a keen observer of football and football issues in general, including referees, the laws of the game, and match tactics. I have just started a PhD in English and hope to become a published writer. |
