| Introduction | Nelson and I were a couple for two years. I lost my beloved Nelson November 6, 2009, abruptly and unexpectedly, to sudden cardiac arrest, probably caused by a cardiac arrhythmia. We were short-distance for the first year and a half of our relationship, long-distance for the last six months. He'd just sent a dozen roses for our second anniversary; he'd been planning to propose in December 2009. This blog is in his memory. Memory Eternal, Nelson. Hira Animfefte is pronounced "HEE-rah Ah-NEEM-fef-teh". Hira means "Widow" and Animfefte means "Unwedded" in Greek. It's based on a song/hymn referenced in my second post. |
