| Introduction | My name is Mitchell Johnston and I am currently undertaking a Bachelor of Education/Arts at Flinders University. My teaching major topics are Physical Education and Italian. I aim to teach in the secondary years and have a passion for what I do. My teaching pedagogy is shaped through a powerful quoe by Paolo Friere who says "to alienate human beings from their own decision making is to change them into objects". In the classroom allowing students the opportunity to take control of their learning and develop meaningful connections with their peers and their education is the number one priority, and in teaching I aim to achieve this with all students. |
