Introduction	I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, went to a small liberal arts college in Illinois, then moved to China to teach for a year. I fell in love with city life and when I returned to the states I moved to Chicago proper as soon as possible. Wouldn't you know I'd fall in love and marry someone working towards a PhD in the UP of Michigan?? I'm a city girl adjusting to Yooper living, and I'm embracing it as much as I can!
