| Introduction | I am an unsophisticated (you can tell by my choice in movies), middle-aged Midwestern woman, who is fanatical about animals and vegan baking. I have a husband of 25+ years whom I adore, as well as numerous companion animals (some of whom I adore, others whom I tolerate!). If this all sounds a bit dull, well, you're right. I am a dull person. I also have a long and sordid history of severe depression and anxiety, which influences much of what I do. (I will try to keep it under control so as not to bring you down with me.) I am probably the world's only vegan who hates both beans and tofu. But, I'm ridiculously physically healthy, so it hasn't hurt. |
