Introduction	Hi! I’m Josie, a 20-year-old Hospitality Management major at ECU with a passion for event planning, especially weddings. As the VP of the SAM Club and an Event Coordinator Assistant, I’m dedicated to growing in the industry. Outside of my studies and work, I love boxing and reading nonfiction. Interests	I’m passionate about hospitality and event planning, especially weddings! I love the creativity and detail that go into making memorable events. Outside of that, I’m the Vice President of SAM at ECU, and I’m always looking for ways to grow professionally. In my downtime, I enjoy boxing, reading, and exploring new trends in the event industry.
Favorite movies	I’m a huge fan of films that mix ambition with a bit of drama! Some of my all-time favorites include The Devil Wears Prada for its glimpse into high-powered careers, Bride Wars because who doesn’t love a wedding-themed comedy, and The Intern for its feel-good message about learning and growth. I also enjoy La La Land for its blend of creativity and determination.
Favorite music	I listen to everything! My playlist is an eclectic mix that reflects my diverse interests. Whether it’s upbeat pop to energize my workouts, smooth jazz for a relaxing evening, or classic rock for some nostalgic vibes, I love exploring different genres. Music is a huge part of my life, inspiring my creativity and keeping me motivated as I navigate my journey in hospitality and event planning!
Favorite books	Growing up, I was enchanted by The Magic Tree House and Harry Potter, which sparked my love for adventure and fantasy. Now, I have a soft spot for romance stories that tug at the heartstrings and explore the complexities of relationships. There's something magical about diving into a good love story that resonates with my own experiences and dreams!
