Introduction	I am a Junior in the Glenbrook Academy of International Studies, and my goal is to be an educated American citizen not only locally and nationally, but also globally. In order to broaden my global perspective, I have been studying German for three years, and I have participated in two exchange programs with high schoolers in Cardiff and Hamburg; I have also taken independent tours of London, Prague, Munich, Vienna, Salzburg, and Rome. Although I have never been to China, the implications of the U.S. relationship with China are everywhere, and I am determined to decipher the true cost of seemingly cheap products from China.
