| Introduction | Information posted by the Friends of George Street describing works being carried out to restore the currently derelict Independent Methodist Chapel in George Street, Oldham. Information will be posted here to describe the background research works being carried out and the physical works to conserve, restore and adapt this important Grade ll* Listed building during 2012-13. Following restoration works the site will act as a focus for the Friends of George Street in working with Age UK Oldham to continue research and support the use and management of the chapel. |
