| Introduction | Miguel has organized international events, wrote, edited, and translated a number of publications with Universities in Latin America and the US where he has been a visiting lecturer and had membership of academic committees. He has been awarded a Post Graduate in Education by Canterbury Christ Church University and acquired Qualified Teaching Status in the Long Life Learning Sector by the Institute for Learning. He has been a manager in Higher Education in the UK and coordinated an H.E. Learning and Teaching Programme with the University of Roehampton. He specialized in Educational Policy and Research. As an international consultant he focuses on the Advancement of Universities in Latin America and the Quality Accreditation of their Academic and Research Programmes. His duties include networking with higher education institutions and government agencies internationally. He coordinates international activities with key international institutions in this region. He has been an adviser to Government Ministers and participated in the certification of policies, processes and teaching practices organising different events in conjunction with governmental and United Nations Agencies. |
