| Introduction | Wills started his career in the animal rights movement. Traveling through the United States and the world exposing and defending the rights of animals and the environment. In 1995 Wills entered the private sector. In the private sector he started his own company and embarked on a very successful consulting career assisting major corporations in assessing and securing natural resources that were sustainable. Wills’ understanding of the strategic methodologies behind successful social advocacy campaigns was much appreciated in the cloistered rooms of profit driven corporate America. He has traveled to and worked in over 50 countries and in the process became a leading expert in the world of aquaculture and wild fisheries. Convinced that the NGO’s had become as “profit driven” as the corporations they condemned and that governments are simply powerless to make a difference, Wills decided to begin developing systems that were profitable, environmentally sustainable and socially equitable. |
