| Introduction | I am a young woman. (It is amazing to me how those words can be so small but mean so much.) I am not quite my own person yet, but I am in no way like anyone else. I grew up with little self confidence to drive me toward the things I wanted most. I felt held back for many years, by a wall that never existed. One day I realized that the place inside of me that holds so many thoughts and emotions, is my birthmark. It is what makes me unique. It was given to me to seperate me from the rest of the world. My writing is just one more way that I will distinguish myself. |
