| Introduction | I'm a single mom of two twenty something kids (a daughter and a son). I live in the house that I grew up in and have been fortunate enough to have my kids grow up in the same house and go to the same schools that I did. Now that I'm an empty nester parent, it's time that I follow my passion which is helping dogs. I have been involved with a dog rescue for 2 1/2 years and now have 7 dogs as my children. A lot of people can't imagine living with this many dogs, but they are my children now and they are truly one thing in life that gives you unconditional love. They live for you. How many people can you say will give that? I've had a pretty good life, but I've definitely had some very tough bumps along the road and even now I'm at a stage in my life that I'm starting all over again in careers and learning to be alone. |
