Introduction | Check out my website at < SocialTheology. com >. I am a senior, a Social Theologian and author. For years my special interest has been the interplay of different faiths with each other, particularly that of Secular Humanism with Christianity, in the market place. Having completed the major writing projects I had planned for my retirement, I am now digitalizing my lectures, speeches, articles and other writings on my website (see above). Another increasing interest is to serve the local senior community, especially the lonely and fragile, under our local Seniors Network and churches. |
Interests | Social Theology, Wholistic Religion and Society, Christian-Muslim Relations, writing and reading, watching movies, music, philosophy, cooking (esp. soups of all kinds), chess, traveling and exploring (esp. by our 20-foot RV), socializing and hanging out. |
Favorite Movies | Though I enjoy watching a good movie, like names and book titles, I soon forget the movie's name or its main actors. Forgetting is part of my lifestyle! |
Favorite Music | Jazz, gospel, opera, western, spirituals, African, Christian choirs, organ, piano, trumpet, accordion, folk |
Favorite Books | History, historical fiction, (auto)biographies --esp. political--, theological histories, Kuyperiana, worldview and philosophy (non-technical). |
What's the earliest you've gotten up to watch cartoons and what did you see?
Why do some people think secularism is rational and religion is not?
