Introduction | I am a VP Operations Manager by trade. I am a writer, runner, quilter, and crocheter in my heart. I have been writing to some extent all my life, including creative, technical, instructional, and nonfiction. I taught myself to quilt 15 years ago through Simply Quilts and books from the local library. My current interest is the newer non-traditional quilting techniques. I also taught myself to crochet in an effort to stop snacking during evening TV. It worked and I have many lovely afghans to show for it. My newest crochet interest is amigurumi. I am new to running. I started with a 5 mile race on Labor Day. My sister talked me into trying it and I found that I love it. In May 2011, my sister and I are going to run the Cleveland Marathon. |
Interests | Writing, quilting, crochet, running |
Favorite Movies | In no particular order (except the order I thought of them): The Godfather, Star Wars (yes, even 1-3), Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Scarface, Mommy Dearest, Fright Night, The Jerk, House of the Flying Daggers, Kill Bill, Dogma, Life of Brian |
Favorite Music | My iPod contains everything from Bluegrass to Metal. I guess that bands I like best are Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Doors, Queensryche, and Marillion. Have you heard the new Journey singer? If they come out with a couple more albums like Revelation, they will be moving to my favorites as well. |

You're going to the moon! What did you forget to pack?
I am going to the moon and what would I pack? As many books as I could carry. On second though, I'd pack lots and lots of oxygen.
