Introduction	Dr. Joe Peters had a dual-track career in Music and AV-IT at the National University of Singapore. Both careers are now merged into services and research for Timeline Music Annotation Library-Laboratory Pedagogy (TMAL-P) and The Study of Tremolo-Strings using his Heuristic Group Music Pedagogy (HGMP). He has a Masters in Music from the University of the Philippines and a Ph.D from the University of Western Australia. He is known for “Sonic Orders in ASEAN Musics” - a field-to-lab ethnomusicology project that has produced two book volumes and 10 CDs. These provide an over-view of what remains of the traditional indigenous audio-scapes in Southeast Asia. Other major projects include the ASEAN Korea Traditional Orchestra (AKTO) where he served as the inaugural Co-Chairman between 2008-2011, and Advisor to C-ASEAN Consonant, an inter-cultural performance project under the conglomerate - Thai Beverage. He also serves as Liaison Officer for the International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM), the UNESCO arm for ethnomusicology. This blog will contain information relating to the study and practice of Sonic Environment Studies.
