Introduction	Introducing myself could take a while, so I'll get straight to the important stuff! I'm mother to a pair of phenomenal kids, wife to a pretty amazing husband, and absolutely in love with my Boxer, Sookie! I'm also a Writing Instructor at Northeast State Community College and I teach life skills and technology courses for Adult Education. I'm always looking for ways to improve: my parenting skills, my classroom experience, and my course strategies. Next fall, I will add grad student to my list because I will be starting my M.S. in Instructional Technology at the University of Tennessee. I hope to use this blog as a tool to document my progress as an instructor and graduate student as well as a coping mechanism for the insane juggling of professional and personal responsibilities!

Favorite books	This list is ridiculously long, but a few of my MAJOR faves include Slaughterhouse Five, A Ring of Endless Light, Pride and Prejudice, and When She Woke. I love YA Fiction, SciFi/Fantasy, Historical Fiction, and British and Appalachian Literature.
