| Introduction | I graduated in January 2010 from Elon University with a degree in International Studies. In May, the Peace Corps invited me to spend 2 years in Mali educating people about simple ways to improve their health and nutrition. My passions lie in advancing womens rights through reproductive health and education. And since the average woman in Mali has 7 kids and half the population is under 15, my work is cut out for me! As an optimist, idealist, and feminist; this will be the biggest adventure and test of my life so far. |
