Introduction	My research into the Webb family began in the late 1980s as I sought to learn how my father's family came to settle in Summers County, West Virginia. Over the years, DNA has been instrumental in making family connections and following the line back to New Kent and Henrico Counties in the 17th century. My work is ongoing. Many of the families had numerous children and I continue to research the line.
