| Introduction | As a child, I remember my mom struggling with high blood pressure (with medication) and saying eating healthy was too hard. We hardly ever ate vegetables and meat was at the forefront of every meal. I stopped eating meat 12 years ago and transitioned to vegan in 2015. I've let go of almost 70lbs, my blood pressure has improved, my cholesterol is amazing, and most important, I am trying to stop the cycle of medical issues before it hits my children. I could go on and on about how eating less meat and dairy is goof for our planet, but my number one driving force is health. |
