Introduction	Operation Give a Pencil was created by our art teacher who had one simple idea...give pencils to children who need them. Our philosophy: A pencil, it’s cheap, it’s the most basic tool for creating, everyone needs a one, and it’s erasable! By collecting and giving pencils to children who are in need, we are promoting learning and creativity one school community at a time. We hope one day to give pencils to children who live in poverty all over the world. With this philanthropic mission, we hope to join a community of pencil givers, as we are not the first, but we hope that you will be inspired to donate this basic tool and help children in need.
