About me

Introduction	I'm one of the third year Nephrology Fellows at Stanford. I got hooked on blogging during my year as one of the Chief Medical Residents at UCSD and wanted to keep it up during fellowship. I was and remain heavily inspired by the late Nathan Hellman of the Renal Fellow Nework and Joel Topf of Precious Bodily Fluids. If I can be half as interesting, entertaining and informative as those guys, mission accomplished. I'm supported by the VA PCOR program and a Clinical Scientist in Nephrology grant from the American Kidney Fund. When I'm not taking care of patients or in class I'm working at the newly formed Clinical Excellence Research Center at Stanford helping to develop, pilot and spread innovative new ways of taking care of patients with chronic kidney disease.
