About me

Gender Female
Occupation Yoga teacher
Location Laguna Beach, California
Introduction I grew up in rural Northern California, riding horses, playing in creek beds and hiking over to play at the neighbor's house, a quarter mile away. When I moved to bustling Orange County, I satisfied my expansive urges in the dance studios at UC Irvine where I received a BA in Dance in 2000. I moved to NYC, where I danced professionally with companies like Heidi Lastky Co. and Homer Avila. Surrounded by the noise of the city I fell into the quiet of Om Yoga Center. After three years of study under Cyndi Lee, Jennifer Brilliant and Dana Strong, I left my career as a professional dancer to move back to California and teach the Om Vinyasa style. I have been fortunate to work with, and learn from a wide variety of healers, doctors, and all around body geniuses for the past 15 years. I teach awareness in body and mind. I emphasize alignment and breath. My lifelong study of movement enables a unique flow of alignment and functionality in my classes.
