| Introduction | Rediscovering the fun of maths, and jotting down a few thoughts as I go. I was a minor maths prodigy at school, got into a good university to study maths at 16, but gave it up and changed to philosophy from a mixture of laziness and not being convinced I was academically inclined. Now, a couple of decades later I have been enjoying dabbling with number theory - this is all a bit amateurish and informal and I'm aware I may be clumsily stumbling over ground that is well-known to a proper mathematician.
