| Introduction | My name is Leanne and I live in Brixton, South London. I am married to Mehmet and we have a gorgeous little boy called Cem ("Gem") who is now 6 months old. People ask "What do you do?" I say that I am a teacher since this is what I do during the days and most of those days I love it but there has to be more to me than that. Being off work for maternity leave has reminded me how important it is to give time to the parts of me that are not 'teacher' and this A Make a Day journey is part of this. So what else do I do? I design things, I make things, I read things, I write things, I study things, I celebrate anything and I'm learning to sit back and do nothing - sometimes. |
