| Introduction | I grew up and live in Melbourne, Australia. I have worked as a teacher, an educational administrator and as a consultant, most recently, in developing international education projects, 'The Tenth Gateway' was my first book. 'The Spy's Door' is the sequel. |
| Interests | Together with my husband, I enjoy travelling and exploring ancient ruins, castles and beautiful gardens. These experiences, and my love of fantasy, inspire my stories. When I'm not reading, writing or having coffee with friends you will find me in the garden. |

| Favorite Books | I read lots of thrillers, general fiction and history. I'm always on the look out for a new Robert Goddard, Mark Mills or Barbara Erskine. I'm also enthralled by books about Vikings and medieval history. My favourite classics include the books of Jane Austen and Charles Dickens, and the works of the Australian poet and author Henry Lawson. When I was growing up some of my favourite books included: Enid Blyton: especially the stories about the Enchanted Wood and the Faraway Tree and the Famous Five series Lewis Carroll: Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass Robert Louis Stevenson: Treasure Island and Kidnapped All the traditional fairy stories I recently read two series of books for children that I enjoyed: Emily Rodda: The Three Doors Trilogy Kate Forsyth: The Impossible Quest |
