Introduction	“Are we there yet?” is a question we hear frequently from our girls whenever we are headed somewhere. Our favorite response is, “We are here!” It’s always a correct answer, and we use it to remind the girls and ourselves that though we may eagerly await a destination, wherever we are in location, time and along our life paths is also a fine place to be. We are a dad, a mom, and four sisters (aged 9 years, 7 years, 4 years and 2 years at the start of our trip) on leave for a year from our normal lives in Hawaii. Our journey has been a combination of road tripping and camping across the U.S., living on C. Spirit, a 32-foot sailboat that we took down the east coast's intracoastal waterway and to the Bahamas, and visiting beautiful Tunisia. Being here is a wonderful thing.
