Introduction	Right after high school, two of my best friends gave me a bumper sticker that read, "Life is too short to drink bad wine." I proudly stuck it onto the bumper of my beat up Honda Civic hatchback in Friday Harbor, WA. My love affair with wine had already begun, long before I could legally drink it. Fast forward to today--I'm a mom who works in the wine biz as a buyer for an independent grocery store. I hold a degree in Journalism from the UW and am a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers. I worked in high-end restaurants for over a decade until it became evident that starting a family and becoming a wine director somewhere just couldn't work. As luck would have it, I walked right into my current gig as wine buyer/steward for a great Thriftway 5 minutes from home. I still aim to please and love making wine accessible to everyone.
Interests	Family, food, wine, cooking, eating, sipping, swirling, working, working out, walking my golden retriever, laughing and really trying to enjoy life.
