| Introduction | I was born on the hot and dusty Western Australian goldfields and after the war my family came to a cold and wild village in the highlands. My book 'Echoes on the Mountain' published in 2006, has just had a second print run. It is a good read about ten migrant stories - people who came to the rugged Central Highlands in Tasmanian post-war. They had a two year contract with the HEC. They came from Lithuania, Italy, England, Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic. I am researching and writing more migrant stories which includes many different indiviudals and groups, eg. Chinese, German, Dutch, Italian POWs, Greek, Polish. I now live on the lovely north west coast on land overlooking Bass Strait. I like to meet family and friends regularly and really enjoy meeting new subjects for my stories. I like regular contact with other writers. |

If your whole body were a hot air balloon, would you stop eating spicy food?
Not necessarily - it might be the alcohol that did it!
