| Introduction | Let's begin by discussing the very weight of things. I am bipolar. After my life collapsed around me, I figured out that something was seriously wrong. It took me two years of fighting to get effective medication. It took three more years of fighting to get my disability recognized. I have gotten steadily worse from the accumulated stress of being poor, mad, and so desperate that I have fought like a cornered rat to reach where I am now. |
