| Introduction | I believe creating art connects us to the on going evolution of the Universe, and that we are all creative; we just choose to show it in different ways. When I am making art, the barriers of time and space dissolve and I enter a quiet sanctuary. As part of my creative process, I make marks, buried deep into the archaeology of the painting, sometimes these are uncovered towards the end, most times they remain hidden under a multitude of layers, yet their energy silently speaks. I leave the painting to tell the story and the viewer to be the interpreter. |

| Favorite books | I am an avid reader. There is no way I could possibly list all the books that are my favorites. I am currently reading a wonderful book, Half of a Yellow Sun, by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, about the birth and death of Biafra. And my hands down favorite magazine is The Sun. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a magazine that is filled with thought provoking interviews, short stories, poetry and reader contributions. They take no advertising. It's a gem. |
