Introduction	I was lucid till the last 60 years. Now I piddle around mindlessly in Spain, where life is joyful. When I still had hopes of becoming Superman, many decades ago, I ate PEP breakfast cereal with the hope it'd make me able to fly. It didn't. I couldn't then and can't now. But land-based life in Barcelona is better than being Superman! What do you think of THAT?

Favorite music	Beethoven, Chopin, Beatles, the song of the gulls outside my window, cruising by from the Med laughter that is real, Perlman's violin, that clarinet in the beginning of Rhapsody in Blue.
Favorite books	Diceman, Non-organic cooking, The Meaning of Liff, Edward DeBono's anything
