| Introduction | Hector Fernando was born in Mexico City. He studied film in Paris and did further studies in Germany before he moved to Helsinki, Finland where he stayed and developed as a film director for 15 years. Hector kicked-off his career as a Director of Photography and Editor, but soon started directing music videos. He made his directional debut in San Francisco, Las Vegas and NYC with a commercial for Leaf. Since then he has been directing and producing all over the world. Hector has a diverse directing style with great storytelling as his strongpoint. He has started endeavoring in visual projects lately and he likes to make small movies to sell products. Recently he was awarded with several Golds and Silvers including the Grand Prix At the Crystals in France with the film Statoil “Birds” and Statoil a Gold for Statoil “Oli”. as well has shortlisted in Cannes and has won several other international Awards.
