About me

Introduction	As typical Americans, my husband and I worked hard to achieve the status we believed we "deserved". Along with that status, came an abundance of things. Moving several times to bigger and (we thought) better homes, acquiring more and more stuff, and spending all our free time maintaining everything. I think our "ah-ha" moment came about 4 years ago. We realized what we wanted most of all was a simple, peaceful life. I played a little mind game....if we suddenly lost everything we owned, what would we miss and replace. Much to my surprise, not much stuff would make the cut. So, I started looking long and hard at all our stuff and sending a lot of it on it's way. So here we are. Less stuff, smaller house and still working on simplifying. And you guessed it, the whole process is "simply irresistible"!
