| Introduction | Random Dragon is a dark ambient project intended to expose the forces of darkness and lead the way to Christ, the True Light. If one were to think of a Catholic dark ambient project, one would normally think of it as an oxymoron, but rest assured that though this art is intended to serve God, the person who made it knows evil very well, having been constantly tormented by the forces of darkness on a spiritual and psychological level. Random Dragon itself refers of course to Satan, but just as the darkness in the music is not randomly created (though it may seem so at times) but guided by an artist, so too is the darkness in the world not random, but guided by a Creator to an end. Random Dragon is not intended to spread darkness and evil, but to be the light in the darkness, taking its inspiration from the Logos, both in the sense of the Word of God and in the Heraclitean sense of a reality which is common to all and investigated and illuminated by the intellect, aiming to show that the former precedes and creates the latter, and that this knowledge allows literally everything to be understood as it actually is. |
