| Introduction | I am married and have one daughter. She just turned nine. My life has been very challenging this past year, more so than usual, and yet I am finding Christ in a way that I had never expected through all of these trials. James 1:2-3 says "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance." That's me this year :) |

| Favorite Music | I am so eclectic when it comes to music. I love some of almost everything. I love Benny Goodman and the Glen Miller Band. (Some of you are laughing...stop!) Pretty much everything by Alabama, George Strait, the Bare Naked Ladies or Nickelback can be found on my ipod. I adore Smokey Robinson and the All American Rejects. I just love music. I have over a 1000 songs on my ipod and know each of them (not every word), but I have to say that the song I currently enjoy above all others is "I Can Only Imagine" by MercyMe. Everytime I hear it I get chills because there is no boundary that our seemingly limitless imagination can reach that could possibly prepare us for the absolute magnificance finally standing in His presence. |
| Favorite Books | I still love the Alexander series that I read as a child by Judith Viorst. I read it with Jessica even though she's probably outgrown it. Some of my favorite books are: Desiree, Jubilee Trail, Little Women, Eight Cousins, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Count of Monte Cristo, Pride and Prejudice, A Walk to Remember, Northanger Abbey, and Three Weeks with my Brother. And of course I have to add the entire Twilight series. Love it! |
