| Interests | I've got a little bit of a creative streak in the portrait of my life; got a penchant for writing (poetry as well as prose) in English, and am also quite a shutter-bug. I am passionate about all that is mine, and sometimes tend to get possessive about things. Would like to learn (to the extent of proficiency) another language as well, Arabic being at the top of the to-do list, InshaAllah I will accomplish this someday. |
| Favorite Movies | There was a time when I could be classified as a complete movie buff. Astaghfirullaah for that. Things have changed now... I prefer 'quality time' to 'quantity time', anytime. And I'd rather spend some time learning something from my 'favorite book' rather than sit through a boring meandering tale of someone else's weaving. Besides, with the piles of brainwashing cr*p they feed you at the movies, I'd rather be miss out than fall prey. |
| Favorite Books | Hmm... Ain't that an excellent choice of question now? Well if there is ONE book that I'd love reading through over and over again (InshaAllah of course), then it is the Quran. Books of Sahih Hadith and Fiqh come in at 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Everything else comes in after em... miles after em. |
If you drive on a parkway why don't they make the whole plane out of that?
Actually they make a parkway out of a plane, which by itself -geometrically-, is just a collection of points... Points where you're supposed to park your vehicle, that is.
