Introduction	I'm originally from southern Ohio and now live in southern Ontario. I've been married to my wonderful husband for 12 years and have a 24-year-old stepdaughter. I had gastric bypass surgery on July 7, 2009 and have lost 250 pounds. My journey began in Feb. 2009 and is chronicled in this blog.
Interests	Reading, writing, music, movies, family, fun. Um...Bo Bice!
Favorite movies	Fave of all time: Gone With the Wind. I love horror movies!! Halloween, Scream, The Ring, Blair Witch Project.
Favorite music	Allll kinds. I have very eclectic taste in music. BO BICE, Bon Jovi, Nickelback, Seether, Robbie Williams, The Black Crowes, Keith Urban, Eminem, Rob Zombie, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, Pink, Van Halen (with Roth), Sugarland, Lenny Kravitz, Motley Crue, Beyonce, Johnny Cash, AC/DC, Disturbed, Justin Timberlake, Guns N Roses, Taylor Swift, Dixie Chicks and Ozzy Osbourne among many others. Some indie or lesser-known artists I like include: Gary Nichols, Anthony Gomes, Kris Bell, Lewis Copeland, Richie Kotzen, Levi Weaver, Josh Ritter, LoCash Cowboys
Favorite books	Reading is probably my favorite thing in the world to do. True crime is my favorite genre. A few faves: Helter Skelter, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, The Stranger Beside Me, Flowers in the Attic, Twilight Series, The Turn of the Screw, Catcher in the Rye, The Color Purple, In Cold Blood, The Ghosts of Ohio, Dude Where's My Country and The Beauty Myth
