| Introduction | Thank you for visiting my blog. I am Maria Calero and I am from Cartagena, Colombia. I studied Social Communication and Journalism and when I arrived to Texas I decided to become a Teacher so I did an ACP program to be able to start my career as a teacher. All I can say is that I love it. Everyday I learn more and more strategies that expand my knowlegde to help kids in their learning. I started as a Kindergarden teacher, 1 year and then I moved to 4th grade for 3 years. I worked 3 years as a Bilingual Intervention Specialist, helping upper elementary grades and also I am the campus coordinator for the mentors program in my school.
