| Introduction | I'm a 4th grade teacher and he's a quality engineer. Together we're putting the "Weekend" in "Weekend Warrior". There's never a dull moment around here. We ride, kayak, hike, camp. We don't do any of it well (except maybe the camping part) but we do it anyway! We add stuff to our bucket list as fast as we check it off. We started with the goal of visiting every state park in Virginia, and we're about halfway through. We've also set ourselves the goal of hiking a section of the Appalachian Trail in all 14 states it passes through. We'd like to hike all of Virginia eventually. Our latest plan is to backpack Sequoia after we finish our AT quest. |
