| Introduction | I am a musician living in NYC. I began drinking when I was 12 during Bridge parties my parents had with all of their friends, where my friends and I would sneak peppermint schnapps and beers. It only escalated during my 20's in NYC. And then I was always on tour, drinking at hotel bars with the other musicians.I hit 40 and my drinking really started to scare me. I couldn't wait to be alone in my apartment so I could drink by myself, eat brie cheese, watch dumb rom-com movies, and get plastered. I'm done with it. |
