| Introduction | Valentina Argirò was born on the 5th of January 1988 in Venaria, Italy. She holds a bachelor degree in Decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna (IT), and a specialists degree in Communication and Organization for Contemporary Art at Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan (IT). For the past three years Valentina has collaborated with a few galleries that promote young artists in Bologna, Milan and Turin. She considers art to be an educational tool with which she can encourage people to take a more critical view of our society. She helps promote this within her own practice by running workshops for participants of all ages. She also works as a childrens’ entertainer in a educational farm near Turin, leading games and laboratories about natural elements and their symbolic aspects with kids of ages 6 through 12. Valentina’s dream is to work with people through art because it has the power to transform our worldview, and is able to encourage positivity in the face of difficulties. |
