| Introduction | I've seen over 600 species of birds. I LOVE spring, but I'm pretty fond of summer too. I collect state high points -Dad and I have been to ten. I love to travel. My favorite place yet is Costa Rica. If I could go anywhere it would be Africa. At the top of my bucket list are Mountain Gorillas and Orangutans. I enjoy reading. Historical fiction is my favorite - especially stories that focus on the plight of the oppressed. I want Obama back. My dream home would be an old restored colonial, updated with modern green energy-saving technologies, stocked with antique furniture, in the middle of my own little patch of woods. After finishing my MS in Biology, I taught high school science for 3 years. Then my husband took a job at the most remote wildlife refuge in the lower 48, and all that was left to do was have babies. I had two. Then we moved to probably the second most remote refuge before returning to Arkansas, babes in tow. If I had three wishes: 1) we would take care of our beautiful planet; 2) we would be stewards of all life on this beautiful planet; 3) we would treat fellow humans with respect-no more genocide and every child would have someone to love them. |
