| Introduction | My name is Denice. Yep, that is my real name. Know why I am using my real name? Because, one day I will forget any fake name I make up for myself and call myself by my real name anyway. I didn't name this blog Ditsy Chick for nothin'. I have 3 children - all boys. I consider myself an island in a world of testosterone. I was raised in Utah - nope, not Mormon. I have lived in Idaho (twice), North Carolina and now Arizona. Oh and I forgot Michigan. For the purposes of this blog, I will refer to my children by the nicknames I had for them while I was pregnant with each of them. My oldest son was called Bud, My middle child was Scooter (or Scoots and even Scootie - it was the South and we thought we were funny) and my youngest child is Squiggy. I refer to them by their nicknames because at least in the eyes of the law they are innocent until they are 18 - as a parent I feel I should try to respect this sentiment. I am divorced. |
