| Introduction | I have always had a love for fashion, not the fashion world necessarily, but how we can use our bodies as a canvas for art. Growing up with an architect for a father and with an older brother with a singularly talented hand for drawing, I was always drawing and it was usually CLOTHING. I dabbled with the idea of becoming an art major in college or even a fashion major. Here I am today as a journalist who's job rarely has anything to do with the visual arts. Luckily, sometimes I get to go to a star-studded event and gaze upon the beautiful clothing of some of fashion's greatest. Everyday fashion is important to me too, even if it's just putting colors together or having a bold sense of what you love to wear. Like I said before, I don't necessarily care who's name I'm wearing, as long as it is beautiful and I love it! (Sidenote: I do not condone or support obvious knock offs as such). Sometimes life and fashion is cliche, but that is OK as long as you know what you really want (or want to wear!) |
